Junk journaling is all about creativity, layering, and adding those little touches that make your pages come alive. Today, I’m sharing a fun and easy project: a Boho Girly Hidden Paper Clip! This charming embellishment not only looks beautiful but also serves as a functional element to clip extra ephemera, notes, or tags to your journal pages. Let’s dive into this simple yet stunning DIY!

Materials You’ll Need:

• Shabby chic or boho-style scrapbook paper

• Scissors

• Glue or double-sided tape

• A paperclip

• Decorative elements (stickers, fussy cuts, lace, or washi tape)

Step-by-Step Tutorial:

1. Cut Your Paper
Choose two coordinating pieces of paper. Cut one piece to 2x5 inches and the second to 1x3 inches. These will form the base of your hidden paper clip.

2. Assemble the Hidden Paper Clip
Fold the 2x5-inch paper in half lengthwise. Place a paperclip inside, near the fold, and secure it with glue or double-sided tape. Then, glue the paper closed, making sure the clip is firmly in place.

3. Add the Second Layer
Take the 1x3-inch piece and attach it to the front as a decorative layer. This adds dimension and makes the clip stand out.

4. Decorate Your Clip
Now for the fun part! I used a boho boot and hat fussy cut to give it that girly, vintage vibe. You can also add lace, small stickers, or washi tape to match your journal’s aesthetic.
